Major General Nguyen Dinh Hoan emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City needs to review all fire prevention work, especially in areas with a risk of fire and explosion. The government needs to propagate and instruct on escape skills, equip fire alarm equipment early and ensure safe escape routes, and at the same time request strict handling of fire prevention and fighting violations.
Major General Nguyen Dinh Hoan also requested the Fire Police and Ho Chi Minh City Police to strengthen inspection and guidance on fire safety, especially at expansion houses and temporary houses, and at the same time requested to handle works that do not ensure fire safety to limit the risk of fire and explosion. Continue to review and advise leaders at all levels to seriously implement Directive 19 of the Prime Minister, strengthen the prevention of major fires and serious damage in the management area.
