Lao Dong's record on June 22nd, at the ground leveling and technical infrastructure project site of Ban Qua area, Bat Xat commune, the construction atmosphere was extremely urgent.
Dozens of excavators, dump trucks and many mechanical equipment operate continuously. The sound of engines echoes throughout the area of dozens of hectares as construction teams simultaneously deploy ground leveling, soil and rock transportation, and infrastructure completion.
Through observation, many areas have been leveled to create ground. Contractors divided into many construction teams to take advantage of favorable weather before the rainy season, speeding up the progress of key projects.
Through research, the project to level the ground and technical infrastructure of Ban Qua area has a total investment of more than 500 billion VND from the State budget, with a scale of about 75ha, implemented in the period 2025-2026.
The project includes ground leveling, transportation system, electricity supply, water supply and drainage, and many synchronous technical infrastructure items, creating a ground for industrial development. The construction unit is Truong Son Construction Corporation.
Major Le Thanh Dat - Site Commander - said that the contract package area is about 75ha, of which over 30ha have been excavated and embanked.
We are mobilizing about 50 units to speed up the progress before the rainy season. We hope that the locality and related units will soon complete site clearance so that contractors can conveniently construct and bring the project to completion on schedule," Mr. Dat shared.
According to research, the project must recover about 75ha of land, mainly rice and rubber land, related to 270 households and 3 organizations. The project also arranges resettlement for about 54 households and implements the relocation of 217 graves.
To ensure progress, Chairman of Bat Xat Commune People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung requested units to focus on implementing according to the motto "clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities"; proactively remove obstacles in legal dossiers, strengthen dialogue with people, implement compensation and support in accordance with regulations, publicly and transparently to soon hand over the site to the construction unit.
When completed, Ban Qua area will receive 34 production facilities relocated from Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park, Lao Cai ward. This is an important step to serve site clearance for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.
According to the Lao Cai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project is designed according to current construction standards and regulations, in accordance with the approved plan, meeting technical and aesthetic requirements.
Accelerating the project progress not only creates new industrial land funds but also contributes to rearranging production facilities and expanding the local industrial development space in the coming time.
