On February 13, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Chi Loi - Deputy Director of Phu Tho Provincial Department of Construction - said that the unit had just issued a document approving Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Joint Stock Company (UDIDECO) as the construction unit: Repairing and overcoming damage to the Lo River bridge project, located in Doan Hung commune.
Previously, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee had directing documents: No. 11636/UBND-CN2 dated December 17, 2025 on deploying repair and overcoming damage to the Lo River bridge project; No. 2220/UBND-CN2 dated February 9, 2026 on organizing the selection of units to participate in repairing and overcoming damage to the Lo River bridge project.

Along with that, Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Joint Stock Company (the construction unit of Song Lo bridge) has document No. 19/UDIDECO-CT09 dated February 5, 2026 requesting self-implementation of construction of the project: Repairing and overcoming damage to Song Lo bridge.
Also according to the leader of Phu Tho Department of Construction, after selecting a unit to repair and overcome damage to the Lo River bridge, the Department of Construction issued document No. 1415/SXD-KCHTXD requesting the People's Committee of Doan Hung commune to pay attention and help in the process of construction, repair and overcoming.

Along with the construction and repair unit of the Lo River bridge, UDIDECO, the units: Survey and design are the Road Technical Center - Vietnam Road Administration; design and estimate appraisal is the Joint Stock Company for Investment and Construction Consulting of Transport Works; construction supervision is the Hanoi Transport Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper had reported in many articles about the Lo River bridge in Doan Hung commune, Phu Tho province after 10 years of being inaugurated and put into use, now damaged and degraded. In particular, at the pile of pier T3 of the Lo River bridge, the protective concrete layer was lost, revealing the rusty steel core.
According to research, the Lo River bridge project was started in 2010, and was inaugurated and put into operation in 2015. This bridge is 517.8m long, the bridge deck is 7.5m wide, of which the carriage part is 6.5m, and the railings on each side are 0.5m wide.

The Lo River bridge consists of 9 spans, 8 pillars and 2 abutments, of which the main beam consists of 3 continuous box beam spans made of prestressed reinforced concrete constructed using balanced cantilever casting method; 6 approach spans made of L-shaped prestressed reinforced concrete beams.
The Lo River bridge is an item under the project "Lo River bridge and hardening of the left Lo dike surface" with a total investment of 320 billion VND, of which the Lo River bridge construction package has a total investment of 215 billion VND, and the construction contractor is Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Joint Stock Company.
