Da Nang will ban waterway vehicles on the Han River tomorrow

    Da Nang - The City People's Committee issued a document prohibiting watercraft from anchoring and operating on the Han River during the boat racing tournament.

    The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Document No. 1583/UBND-SXD on the ban on watercraft anchored and operating on the Han River during the time of the Da Nang City Traditional Boat Racing Open - VTV8 Cup 2025.

    Accordingly, all watercraft (except for vehicles on duty as prescribed by the Organizing Committee of the Boat Racing) will be banned from operating on the Han River from the upstream of the Dragon Bridge to the downstream of the Han River Bridge from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on August 31, 2025.

    The People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the City Police and the City Border Guard Command to arrange forces to control and block the route to ensure that unmissioned vehicles do not enter the area where the boat racing activities take place.
