On the morning of July 3, the People's Council of Lam Dong province, term X, 2021-2026, held its first session to perfect key personnel and approve many important contents under its authority.
At the session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the appointment of Chairmen, Vice Chairmen and Heads of Committees of the Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021-2026.

Accordingly, Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term.
The Vice Chairmen of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council include Mr. Y Quang B Krong; Mr. K'Mak; Mr. Tieu Hong Phuc; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich, Mr. Da Cat Vinh.
The session also announced the list of delegates of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council after the reorganization; approved the number, list of Deputy Heads and members of the Provincial People's Council's Committees; established the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.

The Provincial People's Council also agreed to establish and merge 14 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and 4 Committees of the Provincial People's Council including the Economic - Budget Committee, the Legal Committee, the Cultural - Social Committee and the Ethnic Committee.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council said that this is not only the first session of the new term but also an important historical milestone - when Lam Dong enters a new stage of development after the merger and restructuring process.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council is committed to working with delegates to build the Provincial People's Council with three outstanding characteristics: democracy in discussion - where all opinions are listened to and debated scientifically; transparency in supervision - through a mechanism of public and effective inspection and supervision; and determination in action - ensuring that all resolutions are implemented into practical steps, serving the people.
