On June 29, the Department of Finance of Dak Lak province said that so far, the locality has had a plan to handle 727 public housing and land facilities transferred to the locality for management, handling and exploitation.
Among these, many facilities have been put into use and exploitation according to regulations, contributing to improving the efficiency of public asset management, while creating resources to serve the socio-economic development of the province.
According to the Department of Finance of Dak Lak province, out of a total of 727 houses and land facilities transferred, 116 facilities were assigned to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management and exploitation.
For this group of facilities, the Department of Finance has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval a plan to manage and exploit 7 housing and land facilities in 2026.
In addition, the Department of Finance has also submitted to the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee for approval the supplementary plan for management and exploitation of houses and land in 2026 (phase 2) for 72 facilities under the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
For 611 houses and land facilities transferred to the People's Committees of communes and wards for management and handling, up to now, 610 facilities have been handled in various forms.
Accordingly, 11 facilities were arranged for temporary use by agencies, organizations, and units; 108 facilities were arranged as cultural and sports facilities and works serving public purposes; 69 facilities were assigned and transferred to agencies and units for working headquarters.
10 facilities are managed and exploited according to the provisions of land law; 2 facilities are handled in the form of demolition and cancellation; 13 facilities are handled in other forms.
Notably, there are currently 397 facilities being exploited under Decree No. 108/2024/ND-CP. Of which, 362 facilities in 13 communes have issued exploitation plans; 35 facilities in 11 communes have not issued plans and have not organized auctions for rent for exploitation.
Mr. Le Danh Thang - Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Finance - said that receiving, managing and effectively exploiting house and land facilities after transfer is an important solution to avoid wasting public assets, and at the same time create more resources to serve development investment and improve land use efficiency in the province.
According to Mr. Thang, in the coming time, the Department of Finance will continue to deploy and guide the People's Committees of communes and wards to urgently complete the handling of redundant houses and land; specifically identify the unit assigned to manage and handle assets, and at the same time accelerate the exploitation progress in accordance with regulations.
The review, arrangement, handling and putting public housing and land facilities into appropriate exploitation is expected to contribute to improving the efficiency of using state assets, creating resources to promote socio-economic development in Dak Lak province.
