On June 2nd, news from Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that it had just requested departments, branches, and localities to urgently review, arrange, handle and put into operation redundant houses and land arising in the process of arranging the organizational structure and administrative units at all levels.
Cases of slow implementation or failure to fully implement the reporting regime as prescribed will be considered for handling responsibilities.
According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the arrangement and handling of houses and land must ensure compliance with regulations on management and use of public assets. At the same time, complete complete legal documents, declaration information and documents to serve the construction and approval of asset arrangement and handling plans.
The province requests the recovery, transfer or transfer to local management of houses and land used improperly, left vacant continuously for more than 12 months or no longer needed for use in order to thoroughly handle and avoid wasting public assets.
For establishments that continue to be used as working headquarters or professional activities, units must review the actual usable area, ensuring compliance with standards and norms according to regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested to accelerate the exploitation of housing and land facilities, including redundant facilities that have been assigned to units with management and housing business functions in the locality.
For establishments arranged as headquarters, warehouses, non-business establishments, cultural houses or community activity locations, units and localities must urgently hand over, receive and put into use when operating conditions are met.
Regarding housing and land facilities that are subject to State recovery for project implementation, the Provincial People's Committee requests localities to strictly manage, protect assets, and prevent encroachment or illegal use.
Through review, the province has allocated 13 houses and land facilities for agencies and non-business units under the Party bloc; and allocated 2,175 houses and land facilities for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, departments, agencies, branches and commune-level agencies to serve the activities of the political system and local authorities at two levels.
After the arrangement process, the whole province still has 344 redundant houses and land facilities, including 269 facilities under local management and 75 facilities transferred by the Central Government.
To date, the province has initially handled 133 establishments assigned to public service units for management and exploitation; 72 establishments arranged as working headquarters; 27 establishments converted into cultural houses and community activity locations; 70 establishments carried out asset liquidation on land for auction of land use rights according to regulations.
The arrangement and handling of public assets are basically carried out in accordance with regulations, gradually improving the efficiency of using public houses and land.
