On August 1st, according to Phu Thai commune, Hai Phong city, the locality has just organized the payment of compensation and support for site clearance for the Project to build some sections of service roads in the North of National Highway 5, the section passing through the commune.
Accordingly, the Phu Thai Commune Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council has paid compensation and support money to organizations and households with residential land, agricultural land, trees, crops and assets on land subject to recovery for project implementation.
At the payment session, 3 organizations and 6 households with land and assets within the site clearance area received a total amount of compensation and support of more than 8.82 billion VND according to the plan approved by competent authorities.
Payment is carried out in the correct order and procedures according to regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency, democracy, the right beneficiaries and the right policies.

According to Phu Thai Commune People's Committee, timely payment not only ensures the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and households whose land is recovered but also contributes to creating consensus among the people, accelerating the progress of site handover to implement the project according to plan.
The project to build some sections of service roads in the North of National Highway 5 is an important traffic infrastructure project invested by the Hai Phong Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works.
After completion, the project will contribute to completing the regional transportation system, improving connectivity with key traffic routes, ensuring traffic safety, creating favorable conditions for travel, transportation of goods and promoting local socio-economic development.
In the coming time, the Phu Thai Commune Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to accelerate the progress of the remaining tasks, ensuring site clearance in accordance with regulations, contributing to early putting the project into construction, meeting the requirements of transport infrastructure development and creating motivation for socio-economic development in the area.
