In Nam Dinh, the minimum area allowed to separate residential land plots from October 1, 2024 depends on each area, according to the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to Decision No. 35/2024/QD-UBND (effective from October 1, 2024), the minimum land area allowed to separate residential land plots in Nam Dinh province is as follows:

According to Article 8 of the Decision, the demarcation of areas to regulate the minimum area allowed for land division in Nam Dinh province is stipulated as follows:

1. Area I: Land locations in wards of Nam Dinh city and existing towns.

2. Area II:

a) Land locations in residential areas located along national highways, provincial roads, and district roads; land locations in residential areas located along commune roads.

b) Land locations in residential areas in specific areas, including:

- Nam Dinh City: Land locations in communes.

- Truc Ninh District: Land locations in Cu Tru, Nhu Nuong, Phu Ninh, Co Chat villages - Phuong Dinh commune; An Lang, Dich Diep villages - Truc Chinh commune and Trung Lao village - Trung Dong commune.

- Y Yen District: Land locations in Yen Ninh Commune; Cat Dang Village - Yen Tien Commune; Vinh Tri Village - Yen Tri Commune; Tien Thang Village (Nap ​​Village), Khang Giang Village, Nam Dong Village - Yen Dong Commune; Tan Thinh Town - Yen Thang Commune.

- Xuan Truong District:

+ Tra Lu Commune: Land locations in the old Xuan Trung commune, the old Xuan Bac commune and the Bac hamlet area - the old Xuan Phuong commune;

+ Xuan Phuc Commune: Land locations in the old Xuan Tien commune, areas of hamlets: 1, 2, 3, 4 (old Xuan Kien commune);

+ Xuan Hong Commune: Land locations in hamlets: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (Hanh Thien village);

+ Xuan Ninh Commune: Land locations in hamlets: 14, 15, 16 (Xuan Duc village).

- Giao Thuy District: Land locations in Giao Yen commune; Thi Tu hamlet - Giao Xuan commune; Thanh Tan hamlet, Thanh Nhan hamlet - Giao Thanh commune; My Binh hamlet, Thanh Thang hamlet, Lac Thuan hamlet - Giao Chau commune.

- Hai Hau District: Land positions on the main road of Hai Minh commune belong to the sections from the intersection of the primary school to Nam Hoa church, hamlet 31, from Ong Kha bridge, hamlet 10, Tan Tien to Ong Chau bridge, hamlet 30, from Da bridge, People's Committee of the commune to Mr. Mien's house, hamlet 33.

3. Area III: Land positions in the remaining areas.
