On March 19, the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is reviewing resettlement areas in the province to arrange resettlement for households in the project area affected when implementing the Ring Road 4 project in Ho Chi Minh City.
To implement the project, Dong Nai province must recover a land area of more than 443ha in 9 communes with a total number of households expected to be resettled of 1,119 households.
Among the 9 communes with projects passing through, An Vien commune has no households that need to be resettled.
For the remaining 8 communes, there are currently 8 resettlement areas planned to be arranged for households.
Accordingly, about 111 households in Xuan Duong and Xuan Que communes are expected to be resettled to Nhan Nghia Resettlement Area phase 2 in Cam My commune. About 40 households in Dau Giay commune are expected to be resettled in Resettlement Area B1, Hung Loc commune; About 50 households in Binh An commune are expected to be resettled to Long Duc Resettlement Area. About 485 households in Hung Thinh commune are expected to be resettled to Dong Hoa and Binh Minh resettlement areas. About 163 households in Trang Bom and Binh Minh communes are expected to be resettled to Trang Bom and Binh Minh resettlement areas. About 270 households in Tan An commune are expected to be resettled to 3.8ha and 3.5ha resettlement areas in the commune.
Previously, on March 16, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee decided to approve Sub-project 1-2, compensation, support, resettlement and construction of service roads and side roads on the territory of Dong Nai province under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project.
Component project 1-2 has a total investment of more than 10,000 billion VND, and is expected to start construction in June 2026.
The project has 2 investment items including the construction of service roads, side roads and compensation, support, resettlement, and relocation of technical infrastructure.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project with a total length of 159km passes through the provinces of: Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City. Phase 1, the project has a total investment of more than 120,000 billion VND invested in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
In which, Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City through Dong Nai province is more than 46km long and is divided into 2 component projects including: Component Project 1-2, compensation, support, resettlement and construction of service roads and side roads (using local budget capital); Component Project 2-2, construction of the road is implemented according to the PPP method.
