On September 5, Dong Nai City People's Committee just issued 2 decisions to recover an area of 570,456.6 m2 of land (more than 57ha) in Nhon Trach ward and Phuoc An commune to assign the Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center to manage and develop a plan for auctioning land use rights.
Specifically, Dong Nai City People's Committee recovered an area of 517,800.1 m2 of land belonging to land plots No. 9,12, cadastral map sheet No. 201, land plots No. 290, 317, cadastral map sheet No. 212, Nhon Trach ward, Dong Nai City and recovered an area of 52,656.5 m2 of land belonging to land plot No. 41, cadastral map sheet No. 135, Phuoc An commune, Dong Nai City.
Dong Nai City People's Committee also issued a decision to allocate more than 57ha of land to Dong Nai City Land Fund Development Center to manage in Nhon Trach ward and Phuoc An commune for management, and develop an auction plan for land use rights according to regulations.
Nhon Trach ward and Phuoc An commune are located near Ho Chi Minh City with many traffic infrastructure projects being implemented.
The Cat Lai bridge project across the Dong Nai River connecting Dong Nai in general and 2 communes Phuoc An, Nhon Trach with Ho Chi Minh City has also been started at the beginning of 2026.
Regarding land auctions, on August 31, Dong Nai City People's Committee decided to approve the feasibility study report of the project to create a land fund in the vicinity of traffic connection points and traffic routes with development potential to organize land use rights auctions in Nhon Trach ward, Dong Nai City (land area of about 358 ha).
The project implementation time is expected to be 5 months, from September 2026 to January 2027.
The project aims to create a clean land fund of about 358ha in Nhon Trach ward, to organize land use right auctions; effectively exploit land resources, increase budget revenue, and contribute to promoting Nhon Trach urban development and socio-economic development of Dong Nai City.
