At the social housing project site in the residential area adjacent to extended B6 road (Cam Duong ward) in early 2026, hundreds of workers and heavy machinery systems are operating continuously every day.
Materials are fully gathered around the construction area, creating a bustling atmosphere on the large construction site.

The project is invested by a joint venture of Dong A Golden Square Joint Stock Company and Foodinco Quy Nhon Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of more than 2,085 billion VND. The usable scale is about 42,317m2, building 4 blocks with a maximum height of 25 floors, providing 2,192 apartments, meeting accommodation for nearly 5,600 people. The expected implementation time is from 2024 to 2029.

Phase 1, including buildings N01A and N01B, will supply 638 apartments to the market. This is considered a new quality supply, serving the urgent housing needs of people, towards the goal of having housing in 2026.
According to records, this place has a convenient location connected to many urban amenities such as Go supermarket, Lao Cai International School of Canada, provincial general hospital, central square..., the project is expected to create more suitable living options for workers.

Real observation shows that the two buildings N01A and N01B have basically completed the rough, prominent part on the extended B6 axis. About 400 workers are being mobilized for continuous construction to accelerate progress.
According to the project management board, it is expected that in the second quarter of 2026, the project will be completed and handed over to customers.

Mr. Vu Chuan - Representative of the Project Management Board said that to ensure progress, the investor requested contractors to increase manpower and organize 3 consecutive shifts of construction.
To date, the project has completed the rough part and painted the exterior of the 2 buildings; items including the construction of the next building foundation pit are being implemented simultaneously. It is expected that the first apartments will be handed over in early 2026.

According to the housing development plan, Lao Cai province is assigned by the Government the goal of completing 7,600 social housing units by 2030.
In 2025 alone, 1,980 units will be put into use, and in the following years, they will continue to complete the assigned targets.

Leaders of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the development of social housing plays an important role in ensuring social security, creating conditions for workers and low-income people to stabilize their lives, engage in production, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the locality.
