Kien An Ward has just worked with Hai Phong College of Arts and Technology on handling construction works that violate urban planning.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tung Lam - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee - requested the Ward's Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Area Department to base on its functions and tasks to prepare a record of administrative violations, a working record to verify the details of violations regarding the construction of illegal planning of Hai Phong College of Arts and complete the handling procedures according to regulations.
Hai Phong College of Arts complied with the suspension of construction, not allowed to cause construction; coordinated with competent authorities in handling violations.
Previously, Kien An ward held a meeting to listen to reports on violations of construction order, land, and sidewalk order in the area. As of August 6, the ward currently has 101 works under construction, of which 82 works have been licensed before July 1, 2025 and 19 works under construction have not been licensed.
Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested the Ward's Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department to coordinate in promoting the dissemination of documents related to land management, construction order, and sidewalk order. The coordinating agencies quickly completed the interdisciplinary inspection team to review the entire current status of land use in the area. During the inspection, the ward will compile a list of violations to have a basis for handling; resolutely handle new land violations. For cases that have been granted a construction permit before July 1, 2025, the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas of the ward will review, appraise, and re-inspect; regularly inspect and detect to prevent prolonged violations of construction order.
