The project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River in Hung Yen province is being implemented synchronously, demonstrating the determination to form an important regional-level traffic - economic - cultural axis. With a total estimated investment of about VND10,000 billion, this is one of the large-scale infrastructure projects, of strategic significance to the long-term development of Hung Yen province and the Red River Delta region.
According to the plan, the route has a total length of about 55.68 km, passing through 13 communes of Hung Yen province. Starting point is at Km0+000 , the border between Hung Yen province and Hanoi city (Km76+984 DT.378 road - left dike of the Red River), in Phung Cong commune; ending point is at about Km55+680, intersecting the left dike of the Red River at Km133+500, Tan Hung commune. On the route, it is expected to build 2 irrigation canal overpasses at Lien Nghia pumping station, Nghi Xuyen pumping station and Nghi Xuyen bridge, ensuring that they are suitable for the scale across rivers and irrigation canals.
Recently, Tan Hung commune has organized the handover of the second phase of the road project connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River. The total area handed over in this period is nearly 2.7 hectares, located in Le Loi, Minh Khai, Quang Trung and Tien Phong villages.

Mr. Vu Van Thang - Party Secretary, Chairman of Tan Hung Commune People's Council - requested relevant units and departments to focus on site clearance, creating favorable conditions for the project to soon start construction. At the same time, the commune continues to speed up the approval of land origin, appraisal of prices and preparation of compensation and support plans, striving to complete the handover of the remaining 1.25 hectares of land in the third phase, expected to be held on December 25, 2025.
In Hong Chau ward - the area with the second largest site clearance volume of the entire route, the route is about 6.55 km long. The total area of land to be recovered is about 33.92 hectares, with 973 plots of land expected to be affected. Recently, the ward has directed specialized agencies to urgently issue notices of land recovery, organize measurements, counting, determine land origin and submit compensation plans for approval in accordance with regulations.
To ensure the overall progress of the project, the local government recommends that households subject to land acquisition strictly comply with the provisions of the law and policies of the State on compensation, site clearance and resettlement; at the same time, continue to closely coordinate with the construction unit, and promptly hand over the clean site.
When completed, the project will contribute to promoting the connection of tourism - cultural space along the Red River, opening up new economic development space, creating growth momentum for Hung Yen province in the coming years.
