In response to mixed opinions on social networks, designer Thanh Huong Bui and the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee took turns speaking up to clarify the entire development of the incident.
According to official information from Thanh Huong Bui, on November 27, the two sides reached a initial cooperation agreement on designing and sponsoring 75 costumes for the Miss Cosmo 2025 final night, scheduled to take place on December 20. Although not yet signed an official contract, designer Thanh Huong Bui has proactively implemented the items discussed to ensure the overall progress of the contest.
Within 8 days, from November 27 to December 5, Thanh Huong Bui's team completed 8 high-end costume models, considered the design foundation for the production plan of 75 costumes for the same performance. At the same time, the designer affirmed that he will continuously work, discuss and discuss with the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee about cooperation options, media rights as well as overall aesthetic orientation. The large workload in a short time shows the serious investment and high concentration of the brand's resources in the pre-implementation period.
The designs were then sent to Miss Cosmo and received initial approval from the Organizing Committee, as a basis for the implementation of complete costume production. However, as of December 5, in the process of clarifying terms related to media rights, the two sides found that a final consensus had not yet been reached to continue full cooperation. In the spirit of goodwill and mutual respect, designer Thanh Huong Bui proactively proposed to stop cooperation and this decision was approved by the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee. Thanh Huong Bui's side affirmed that the suspension of cooperation came from the desire to protect professional standards during the working process, and said that the brand had fully completed the tasks committed to in the pre-implementation stage. Designer Thanh Huong Bui also expressed his hope that the incident would be viewed objectively, in the right context and not affect the goodwill relationship between the two sides.
