    As of 2:30 p.m. on December 20, the Vietnam Sports Delegation continued to stand in third place on the SEA Games medal standings. Currently, the total number of medals won by athletes is 278, including 87. gold medals, 81 silver medals and 110 bronze medals.

    At the top of the rankings is still host Thailand. With home advantage and a strong force, the Thai sports delegation has accumulated up to 233 gold medals, along with a large number of silver and bronze medals, creating a huge gap compared to the opponents behind.

    Right behind Thailand is Indonesia. The sports delegation of the archipelago currently has 91 gold medals, 111 silver medals and 131 bronze medals, thereby maintaining the second place on the total rankings.

    In the next group, the 4th to 6th positions respectively belonged to Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.

    The remaining rankings on the total rankings will belong to Myanmar, Laos, Brunei and Timor Leste.
