According to information from Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee (Hanoi), on April 8, 2026, Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee issued Notice No. 114/TB-UBND on land acquisition to implement the investment project to build the Olympic Sports Urban Area (KĐT) in the commune.
According to statistics, from April 8 to April 19, this notice was distributed by working groups to 922 households who received compensation and site clearance support when implementing the project in Yen Nguu, Huynh Cung, Huu Le, Huu Tu, Nhan Hoa, Quynh Do villages.

According to the plan, Dai Thanh commune is located in sub-zone A of the Olympic Sports Urban Area project, with a planned area of about 1,235 hectares, accounting for about 70% of the existing area of the commune.
Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee said that for the key Olympic Sports Urban Area project, the Commune People's Committee has proactively deployed many tasks from early on.
Before the project started, the commune coordinated with the villages to review and statistically count the number of graves within the land recovery area, with a total of about 7,000 graves to be relocated.
Immediately after the project commencement ceremony on December 19, 2025, the Commune People's Committee closely coordinated with the investor and the survey consulting unit to determine the project boundary, review villages with land located within the acquisition boundary, and agree on a survey plan and land ownership.
From December 24 to December 31, 2025, the commune organized ownership of more than 12,652 plots out of a total of about 14,768 plots, reaching a rate of 85.67%.
The government aims to complete the approval of the compensation and support plan for the project in April 2026.

Over the past time, Dai Thanh commune has organized meetings to pay compensation and support for site clearance for the Olympic Sports Urban Area project to many households whose land has been recovered.
On April 19, the work of paying compensation and support for site clearance for the Olympic Sports Urban Area project continued at the cultural houses of 5 villages: Huu Tu, Nhan Hoa, Sieu Quan, Quynh Do, Ich Vinh.
In particular, in the morning at 3 villages: Huu Tu, Nhan Hoa, Quynh Do; afternoon at Ich Vinh village, Sieu Quan, Huu Tu.
Despite unfavorable weather and heavy rain in the morning, thanks to good preparation, payments still proceeded smoothly.
In Huu Tu village, the working group supports home payments for land owners who are sick and elderly people who have difficulty moving.

Up to now, the Compensation and Support Council for Site Clearance of the Olympic Sports Urban Area project in Dai Thanh commune has paid to households registered to receive money early in 11 villages within the project boundary.
The Olympic Sports Urban Area project started construction on December 19, 2025, with a scale of more than 9,171 hectares, spreading over 11 communes in Hanoi.
The project has a total investment of about 92.5 trillion VND, planned into 4 zones with the goal of creating a sports urban area, a service urban area associated with an international-class sports complex, contributing to enhancing the position of Hanoi Capital on the continental and international sports and cultural map, creating a driving force for sustainable development for decades.
Trong Dong Stadium is considered the heart of the Sports Complex with a capacity of 135,000 seats meeting FIFA standards, expected to be completed in August 2028.
