Phu Loi Ward (HCMC) was formerly the headquarters of many departments and branches of the old Binh Duong province. In 2014, departments and branches were relocated to the old Binh Duong Administrative Center, many headquarters in Phu Loi Ward were redundant and not fully utilized. Among them are the old headquarters of the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Binh Duong Film and Culture Center.
Records on August 26 show that the 3 headquarters are all located in a convenient location, around educational institutions in Phu Loi ward. The land plots are quite large in area, located on central roads of Phu Loi ward.
Notably, the headquarters of the Culture Center under the old Binh Duong Department of Culture and Sports at No. 5, 30 Thang 4 street has the largest area, about 1.13 ha. This headquarters is located next to the campus of Thu Dau Mot University. Currently, on the campus of the headquarters, there is a main building, previously used to organize cultural and artistic events in the old Binh Duong province. Most of the remaining area is a field for sports activities and vacant land for overgrown grass.

About 1 km away is the old headquarters of the Binh Duong Department of Agriculture and Rural Development at 60 Le Thi Trung Street. This headquarters has an area of 1.07 hectares. Inside the campus, there are some old, degraded buildings. This place used to be a space serving the operation of specialized agencies of the agricultural sector. In 2014, when the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development relocated, there were still 2 units operating inside.

The headquarters of the old Binh Duong Department of Education and Training is located at No. 3 Huynh Van Nghe street. This headquarters has an area of about 0.56 hectares, built with two 3-story buildings inside, and the rest is the campus. After the old Binh Duong Department of Education and Training was relocated, the buildings were used as headquarters of the Binh Duong Market Management Department.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Chairman of the City People's Committee has agreed on the policy of transferring the above headquarters to Thu Dau Mot University for management and use. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requests Thu Dau Mot University to organize the use of the above headquarters, not to leave them vacant or wasteful.

It is known that the headquarters of Thu Dau Mot University is about 5.1 hectares wide at No. 6 Tran Van On, Phu Loi ward. The above headquarters are all near Thu Dau Mot University, within a radius of about 1 km.
Talking to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, leaders of Thu Dau Mot University said that the school is very excited to be assigned the above 3 headquarters by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for the school to manage and use for educational activities. Currently, the school is coordinating with agencies to carry out procedures to receive the headquarters.
