In Chanh Hiep ward, there are 4 old and abandoned headquarters including: Tuong Binh Hiep Health Station, Rang Dong Kindergarten, Kim Dong Elementary School and Tuong Binh Hiep Elementary School.
These headquarters have been abandoned for a long time and are currently not in use. According to records, many items inside the headquarters have deteriorated and are damaged.
According to Chanh Hiep Ward People's Committee, at each location, the survey team conducts inspections and records the current status of facilities, premises, management and use of public houses and land. Thereby assessing the implementation of the policy of arranging, arranging, and handling house and land facilities after arranging the organizational structure and administrative units.
At the program, the Economic - Infrastructure and Urban Department of Chanh Hiep ward reported on the plan to use the above headquarters. For the old headquarters of Tuong Binh Hiep Health Station, because it is located within the premises of the People's Council - People's Committee headquarters of the ward, it is proposed to study investing in building the People's Committee hall of the ward.
For the headquarters of Kim Dong Primary School, it is proposed to build the headquarters of the Ward Construction Investment Project Management Board. For the headquarters of Rang Dong Kindergarten and Tuong Binh Hiep Primary School, it is proposed to study building parks, creating public spaces to serve the entertainment and living needs of people in the area.
Speaking at the working session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thao - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of Chanh Hiep Ward Party Committee proposed that units assigned to manage public houses and land continue to review and specifically determine the boundaries and land area of each establishment; regularly monitor, manage, and maintain environmental sanitation and aesthetics at redundant old headquarters.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thao also noted that the arrangement, arrangement, and handling of public offices must be carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly, strictly, and effectively, ensuring good exploitation of land resources and public assets, and at the same time in accordance with planning, urban development orientations and actual needs of localities. For facilities expected to convert functions, it is necessary to continue to carefully review the legal basis, assess feasibility and complete the procedural steps according to their authority.
