On March 31, the compensation, support, and resettlement council of Gia Loc commune, Hai Phong city organized the payment of compensation and site clearance support money to households affected by two traffic projects in the area.
Specifically, for the Vo Nguyen Giap road construction investment project (section from Lien Hong intersection to Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection), the Council has paid 49 households in Nga village with land and assets on land within the land clearance area, with a total amount of more than 4.9 billion VND.
On the same day, the Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Council of the Vo Nguyen Giap Avenue service road construction investment project (section from the Provincial Police headquarters to the intersection with provincial road 395) continued to organize payments to 32 households in Phuong Diem 1 and Phuong Diem 2 villages, with a total amount of more than 5.3 billion VND.
Payment work is implemented publicly, transparently, to the right beneficiaries and in compliance with State regulations. In the process of implementation, local authorities have closely coordinated with relevant units to conduct reviews, inventory and develop appropriate compensation plans, ensuring legitimate rights for people.
The majority of households agreed, received the money fully, creating favorable conditions for site clearance work, contributing to accelerating the progress of project implementation.
The payment of compensation and site clearance support is identified as an important step, not only helping to remove difficulties in the project implementation process but also contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving land management efficiency and completing the transport infrastructure system in Gia Loc commune.
