On January 22, the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Nai province coordinated with the People's Committee of Phuoc Tan ward (Bien Hoa city) to organize a lottery for resettlement of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project.
These are the first households in Bien Hoa City to draw lots for resettlement land.
Location of the resettlement plot draw for the above households at Long Duc Resettlement Area (Long Thanh District) and Binh Minh Resettlement Area (Trang Bom District).
Area of resettlement plots, the largest plot is nearly 140 m2, the smallest plot is 100 m2.
Households are resettled on large or small plots of land depending on the area of residential land recovered for the expressway project.
According to the Dong Nai Province Land Fund Development Center, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, the section passing through Bien Hoa City, is more than 6 km long with more than 1,500 households affected.
The authorities have considered resettlement for more than 1,100 cases, of which nearly 250 cases are eligible for resettlement.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project is more than 54km long, the section through Dong Nai is over 34km long.
To implement the project, Dong Nai had to reclaim nearly 290 hectares of land from many organizations and more than 3,500 cases in 11 wards and communes of Bien Hoa city and Long Thanh district.
Up to now, the resettlement approval process in Long Thanh district has been basically completed, hundreds of households have been granted resettlement land and built houses in new locations.
Regarding site clearance, Dong Nai has handed over about 85% of the land area for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
Previously, on January 15, a representative of the Executive Board of the joint venture contractor for package 21 (Lizen Joint Stock Company) said that they were conducting the first 200m of asphalt testing at package 21 of component project 1 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
