The total area of these 2 plots of land is 265 m2.
With such a sky-high bid, according to regulations, the man mentioned above won the auction of 2 plots of land and will have to spend over VND1,400 billion to be able to own both plots of land, or will have to abandon the deposit and lose all the money he had deposited to participate in the auction.
However, most opinions say that due to confusion, the auction participants have offered a "sky-high" bid and they will definitely have to accept losing the deposit. The possibility that this person could pay thousands of billions of VND after 30 days to own 2 plots of land in the commune is unimaginable.

Regarding the incident, on the afternoon of March 7, responding to Lao Dong reporter, the leader of An Dong Commune People's Committee (Quynh Phu District, Thai Binh Province) said that he had grasped the information of the incident.
"This morning, he submitted a petition stating that due to negligence and confusion, he himself paid such an unimaginably high price, asking us to confirm the petition to send to the competent authorities," said the leader of the People's Committee of An Dong commune.
According to Lao Dong reporter's investigation, on March 5, at the hall of An Dong Commune People's Committee, Hai Duong Province Property Auction Service Center organized an auction of land use rights for 3 plots of land in An Dong commune. Of which, there are 2 plots of land at the old kindergarten residential planning site (1 plot has an area of 157 m2, the remaining plot has an area of 108 m2), 1 plot of land at the residential planning site behind Hoa market. The auction is conducted by secret ballot.
At the end of the auction, the auctioneer announced the results after counting the bidding votes of the auction participants. Unexpectedly, Mr. P.V.T (residing in Vu Xa village, An Dong commune, Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province) paid the price of VND 5,812,050,000/m2 (five billion, eight hundred, twenty million, not one hundred, fifty thousand VND per square meter) for the land lot marked 01. This plot of land has a starting price of 15,015,000 VND/m2 (10,000-five million VND, not hundreds of fifty thousand VND perm2).
In addition, Mr. P.V.T also paid the price of VND 5,268,650,000/m2 (five billion two hundred sixty-eight million six hundred and fifty thousand VND 1m2) for the land lot marked 02". This plot of land has a starting price of VND 13,650,000/m2 (third-third million six hundred-five-fifties thousand VND 1m2).
Talking to Lao Dong reporter, the leader of the Quynh Phu District Land Fund Development Center said: "We have received the information and are closely following the incident. Through initial review, this person lives in a locality where there is land for auction, without any conditions or wealth, their family is gentle, doing honest business, without any other motivation or purpose to inflate prices. The reason is that they made a mistake, paying for a whole plot of land at 1m2 of land".
"However, according to the law, the basis for the documents and the bidding documents is still valid, even if he does not sign the auction minutes, the deposit will still be collected. Or he will sign the record and later abandon the deposit, but still have to accept losing the deposit," added the leader of the Quynh Phu District Land Fund Development Center.
It is known that the deposit of Mr. P.V.T to participate in the auction of the two above-mentioned plots of land is about 800 million VND. With this situation, Mr. T may have to go to court to present and reinterprete the entire existential misconception case for consideration, otherwise he would have to accept losing all this money.
