On June 1, news from the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction said that there is a plan to inspect the reality of social housing projects being implemented in the province to accelerate construction progress, contributing to completing social housing development targets for the period 2026 - 2030 as required by the Government.
According to the plan, inspection activities are carried out periodically every month for social housing projects being implemented in the province.
The inspection content focuses on the actual construction progress, the ability to complete assigned targets, the implementation of investment procedures, project information disclosure and selling price.
In addition, the inspection team will review the receipt of dossiers for buying and selling social housing, ensuring the right subjects and sufficient conditions according to current regulations.
The Department of Construction requests investors to report specifically on project implementation results, clearly state the reasons for delays (if any) and propose solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
For projects that have not yet started construction, the Department of Construction requests investors to urgently complete the necessary procedures for implementation in the second and third quarters of 2026. This is considered an important basis for completing social housing development targets in the following years.
According to the list attached to the plan, there are 11 social housing projects under inspection, including: Cam Nghia Social Housing Area; social housing in Thanh Hai Resettlement Area; social housing in Binh Son - Ninh Chu Sea Urban Area (K2 Area); social housing projects CT-01, CT-02, CT-04; Hung Phu II social housing; OXH02 social housing area; Vinh Hai social housing area; HHO-05 social housing area (Hacom Galacity) and Nha Trang Social Housing Area Project.
According to Resolution No. 07/NQ-CP dated January 12, 2026 of the Government, social housing development targets for the period 2026 - 2030 are specifically assigned to each locality. Khanh Hoa province alone is assigned to complete 10,088 social housing units by 2030.
In which, the target for 2026 is 3,200 units, creating great pressure for the locality in accelerating the progress of projects being implemented and soon putting new projects into implementation.
