On November 6, the 7th term of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, 2021-2026 term, held a thematic meeting. At the meeting, delegates reviewed and voted to approve 10 Resolutions related to mechanisms and policies to facilitate local socio-economic development.
The Resolutions passed include: Resolution on adjusting career capital to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in 2024; Resolution on adjusting investment policy for the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in the period 2021 - 2030, Phase I: from 2021 to 2025 in Khanh Hoa province; Resolution on the Construction Zoning Plan (scale 1/2000) of Doc Da Trang Industrial Park, Van Ninh district...
Notably, at this session, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also approved a list of 6 land acquisition projects for socio-economic development for national and public interests in the province.
Land acquisition projects are concentrated in Cam Lam district and Nha Trang city with a total land acquisition area of more than 11,706 hectares. In particular, in Nha Trang city, the Nha Trang mixed-use urban area project (229.12 hectares in Vinh Thai commune and Phuoc Long ward) is being acquired.
In Cam Lam district, there are 5 reclamation projects including: Cam Thuong urban complex (reclamation area of 295ha, in Cam Tan commune, Suoi Tan commune, Cam Lam district), Suoi Tan urban complex (in Suoi Tan commune, reclamation area of 236ha), Cam Tan urban complex (in Cam Tan commune, Suoi Tan commune with reclamation area of 292ha), Cam Hoa urban complex (in Cam Tan commune, Cam Hoa commune, reclamation area of 298ha), Cam Lam new urban project in Cam Lam district with reclamation area of 10,365ha.
The land acquisition projects in Cam Lam district are in line with the general planning of the new urban area of Cam Lam until 2045, approved by the Prime Minister in February 2024.
At the November thematic session, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also passed a Resolution on investment policy for the project to build technical infrastructure for Vinh Trung - Vinh Thai resettlement area (phase 2); the project to repair and upgrade Da Ban lake; the project to build a new headquarters for the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine; and the project to renovate and repair the office of Khanh Hoa Provincial Gazette Center.
