Accordingly, Article 27 of Decree 123/2024/ND-CP states the penalties for violations of regulations on documents and certificates in land use, specifically as follows:
1. A fine of 2 - 5 million VND shall be imposed for cases of erasing, correcting, or falsifying the content of documents and certificates in land use that do not fall under the cases 2 and 3 below.
2. A fine of 5 - 10 million VND shall be imposed for cases of dishonest declaration of land use or erasure, correction, or falsification of the contents of documents and certificates in land use leading to errors in the issuance of Certificates and the conversion, transfer, lease, inheritance, donation, mortgage, or capital contribution using land use rights that are not yet serious enough to warrant criminal prosecution.
3. A fine of 10 - 20 million VND shall be imposed on cases of using fake documents in carrying out administrative procedures and other land-related work that do not warrant criminal prosecution.
- Additional penalty: Confiscation of documents that have been erased or altered to distort the content; used fake documents.
- Remedial measures: Cancel the results of administrative procedures on land that have been carried out according to regulations for case 3.
Decree 123/2024/ND-CP takes effect from October 4, 2024.
