Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the results of selecting investors to implement the Nha Trang City Mixed-use Urban Area project.
Accordingly, the consortium including Ha Long Sun Company Limited and Asean Ha Long Tourism Joint Stock Company was selected as the main investor.
The project has a scale of more than 226 hectares, a total investment of more than 17,330 billion VND, and is implemented in Vinh Thai commune and Phuoc Long ward, Nha Trang city. The expected population is about 20,000 people.
The project's operation period is 50 years from the date the investor is allocated land, leased land or changes the land use purpose.
The goal of the project is to build a modern, synchronous mixed-use urban area, including commercial housing, service works, resort tourism and tourist accommodation facilities in the form of sale, transfer, lease or hire-purchase.
This urban area also includes a theme park and a technical infrastructure system, fully equipped with public works such as schools, shopping malls, cultural houses and museums.
Investing in the project aims to exploit the tourism potential of the locality to the maximum, contributing to promoting socio-economic development.
After completion, the urban area is expected to become a new destination, attracting local people and domestic and foreign tourists.
Regarding product structure, the project is expected to develop about 4,200 commercial houses and 1,500 social housing units in the form of apartments. The land fund for social housing is up to 5.91ha.
Notably, housing projects adjacent to areas with national defense and security requirements will be specifically identified in the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 and will not be allowed to be owned by foreign individuals or organizations.
