As of September 24, the project team has completed the approval of compensation, support and resettlement plans such as Road D30 - connecting October 23rd Road to Vo Nguyen Giap Road, Dam to prevent saltwater intrusion on Cai River, Center for application of scientific and technological advances, Provincial Road 3, Phuoc Dong Commune and Vinh Thai Commune, Green belt isolating Dac Loc Industrial Park, Investment in construction of infrastructure to prevent flooding and erosion of My Thanh residential area, Cam Thinh Dong Commune (Cam Ranh), embankment of the right bank of Cai River and embankment of Cai River through Vinh Phuong Commune (Nha Trang).

According to the Nha Trang City People's Committee, the city currently lacks land for resettlement. The locality is implementing 109 state land acquisition projects, and the city needs about 2,000 plots of land for resettlement.
Meanwhile, the resettlement locations are not commensurate with the locations affected by the projects, leading to difficulties in mobilizing land handover. In addition, there are cases that need resettlement support for those who have houses and living on the land but do not meet the resettlement conditions.

Based on the above facts, Nha Trang City People's Committee recommends to soon issue regulations related to price lists of construction works, crops, and livestock as a basis for establishing compensation, support, and resettlement plans to speed up site clearance progress; soon issue a resettlement land price list as a basis for calculating land use fees during project implementation.
In addition, Nha Trang City People's Committee also proposed to direct the units representing the investor to urgently coordinate and complete the procedures for handing over documents, surplus land and unused land to Nha Trang City to carry out State management work, avoiding the situation of encroachment and re-occupation of land that has completed compensation and site clearance work.
