On March 10, the Department of Finance of Dong Nai province is carrying out procedures to implement a social housing project at the Apartment Land Area in the Long Binh Ward Resettlement Area, Bien Hoa City.
The project implementation location is at the apartment land of the 14.3-hectare resettlement residential area project in Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city; land plot No. 132, map sheet No. 7, Long Binh ward, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.
The current land is vacant land managed by the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City.
According to the plan, the land use area of the project is 24,279 m2.
The land area for apartment construction is 8,505 m2, built with 12 floors with about 1,248 apartments, each apartment area is from 25-70 m2. The population is about 2,496 people.
The total investment excluding compensation and resettlement support costs is more than VND 1,135 billion.
According to the plan, the project will complete the procedures by the end of 2025, start construction in early 2026 and be put into use in early 2028.
According to the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province, the social housing project on the apartment land in the Long Binh Ward Resettlement Area, Bien Hoa City has been included in the plan to develop workers' housing and social housing in the period up to 2025 in Dong Nai province.
Dong Nai is a province with a large number of workers with about 700,000 workers working in industrial parks, most of whom are imported workers, with a huge demand for housing, but currently they are mainly living in boarding houses.
In the period of 2021-2025, Dong Nai aims to build 10,000 social housing units, and by 2030, build at least 50,000 social housing units.
