Regarding the site clearance for the C6 underground station project (belonging to urban railway line No. 2 Nam Thang Long - Tran Hung Dao - the investor is the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board), in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Tay Ho Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board raised 2 issues that the government received many opinions and recommendations from people whose land was recovered.
The first is compensation for site clearance.
Most of the households whose land is recovered have frontage adjacent to Thuy Khue street. According to regulations, these households are compensated for site clearance at the level of 188 million VND/m2.
According to representatives of the Project Management Board, many households have expressed their opinions about the low compensation price compared to the market, the market land price here currently ranges from 400 - 500 million VND/m2.
The government has received opinions and recommendations from the people, but the compensation policy must be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Land Law as well as related legal documents.

The second are recommendations related to resettlement.
According to representatives of the Project Management Board, households whose land is recovered for the C6 underground station project are resettled in Nam Trung Yen Urban Area (Yen Hoa ward), about 7km from their old residence.
However, many households reflect that buildings such as A1, A2 were built more than 15 years ago, showing signs of degradation, cracks, peeling, not ensuring long-term living.
Substandard resettlement housing means that it does not meet the criteria that the new housing must be equal to or better than the old housing" - a representative of the Project Management Board said and said that this causes no small difficulties in propaganda and mobilization of people.
According to this person, the resettlement housing fund is arranged by the city. Before the people's petition, the relevant unit reported to the city to arrange a newer, better quality resettlement area but was not approved.
Next, the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board proposed to the Department of Construction a plan to overcome the shortcomings in the resettlement building, including the repainting of the project.
Local authorities continue to organize propaganda, mobilization, and take people to see Nam Trung Yen resettlement apartments after completing the painting and repair.

According to statistics from Tay Ho ward, the total number of households, individuals, and organizations with land located in the C6 underground station project is 47 cases (37 households, individuals; 7 organizations; 3 households in collective area P16A).
To date, 37 cases (6 organizations, 31 households) have signed minutes of handover of land and received resettlement apartments.
It is truly fortunate that people have sympathized with the inadequacies that still exist in the resettlement area, thereby agreeing to move to a new residence to hand over land for the project" - said the representative of the Tay Ho Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board.
From the perspective of the government, the representative said that the state agency's viewpoint is to provide maximum support for people whose land is recovered within the framework of the law.
For the remaining cases, the Tay Ho Ward Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board is continuing to carry out propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue, with the goal of completing site clearance for the C6 underground station project in the second quarter without having to organize land recovery coercion.
