Cuối tháng 1.2026, tại công trường dự án Khu phát triển nhà ở đô thị Tuyên Quang trên địa bàn phường Minh Xuân, máy móc thiết bị và công nhân đang tiến hành đổ bê tông những tầng cuối của 2 tòa nhà ở xã hội trong dự án.
Đây là 2 tòa nhà ở xã hội cao tầng đầu tiên được xây dựng tại tỉnh Tuyên Quang với diện tích 1.610 m2 (gồm 7 tầng nổi và 1 tầng hầm), diện tích sàn khoảng 13.130 m2, đáp ứng khoảng 146 căn hộ cho người lao động thu nhập thấp.
Dự án do Công ty Cổ phần Ô tô Tuyên Quang làm chủ đầu tư, khởi công từ tháng 6.2025 với tổng mức đầu tư trên 137 tỉ đồng. Sau sáp nhập, nhu cầu nhà ở đặc biệt là ở xã hội tại tỉnh Tuyên Quang dự báo sẽ gia tăng, do đó dự án này được người dân rất mong chờ.
Anh Hoàng Trần Tùng (phường Hà Giang 1, tỉnh Tuyên Quang) cho biết, sau khi sáp nhập tỉnh và chuyển công tác về trung tâm hành chính làm việc, gia đình anh hiện sống tại nhà ở công vụ. Cả nhà 3 người phát sinh một số bất tiện.
"Về lâu dài thì cũng không thể ở nhà công vụ mãi được, vì vậy, tôi mong dự án nhà ở xã hội tại trung tâm tỉnh Tuyên Quang sớm hoàn thành. Chúng tôi có điều kiện thuê hoặc mua với giá phù hợp, ổn định cuộc sống", anh Tùng chia sẻ.

Previously, at the end of 2025, Tuyen Quang province announced information about 4 social housing projects in the area with a total investment of nearly 5,000 billion VND, implementation time from 2026 - 2030. This is also an important step to concretize the goal of completing about 3,000 social housing units in Tuyen Quang province by 2030, creating a stable housing fund to meet the housing needs of workers in the context of strong industrial development.
Mr. Ha Quoc Dung - Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Construction - said that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department to urge investors of commercial housing projects and urban areas to deploy investment in social housing construction on the 20% land fund of the project according to the approved progress.
In case the investor does not implement it, it will propose to competent authorities to recover 20% of the land fund to organize selection, assign it to other investors to implement and proactively propose approval of investment policies for social housing and worker housing projects according to the approved housing development plan," Mr. Dung said.
