Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee (An Giang) has just issued a notice requesting organizations, individuals, and households to dismantle and relocate construction works occupying land on DT. 975 road and state-managed land from C3 bridge to Nguyen Van Cu intersection in An Thoi neighborhood 6, An Thoi neighborhood 7.
DT. 975 road plays the role of the main traffic gateway of Phu Quoc island, connecting Bai Truong, An Thoi areas and especially event venues, serving logistics, transportation and ensuring safety and security for activities within the framework of APEC 2027 Summit. In the future, DT. 975 road will become one of the important urban development axes, contributing to completing the urban transport network, improving connectivity capacity and promoting socio-economic development for the Phu Quoc special zone.
However, currently, on DT. 975 road (Duong Dong - Cua Lap - Bai Khem road), the section from Cua Lap intersection to Nguyen Van Cu intersection still has the situation of organizations, individuals, and households trading encroaching on roads, sidewalks, sidewalks, building and expanding houses, tents, shops, canopies, billboards, banners, posters, affecting traffic participants' travel and losing urban aesthetics.
Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee requests organizations and individuals who use land or build houses and architectural structures on DT. 975 road (Duong Dong - Cua Lap - Bai Khem road), the section from Cua Lap intersection to Nguyen Van Cu intersection to be responsible for self-dismantling and relocating all the above-mentioned works, architectural structures, and goods to restore the original land status to the state.
Within 7 days, from March 11 to the end of March 18, organizations, individuals, and households that do not voluntarily carry out the dismantling and relocation or do not contact competent state agencies, Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee will direct the above-mentioned agencies to handle them in accordance with legal regulations, and all subsequent complaints will not be considered or handled.
