Ms. Nguyet informed that after several months of searching, her family went to see some houses in the alley on Khuong Trung street (Thanh Xuan district) but had to quickly "turn around" because of the degraded condition and the high selling price.

"Many houses in the alley on Khuong Trung street have an area of ​​40 square meters, 5 floors, although they are in a degraded condition, with moldy walls, are still being sold for nearly 7.1 billion VND, equivalent to 178 million VND/square meter" - Ms. Nguyet said.

Similarly, Mr. Tran Hoang (33 years old, working in Hanoi) also said that although he wanted to buy houses and land in alleys, for more than a year now, this segment has been increasing rapidly. In recent months, Mr. Hoang has also gone to see many houses in alleys in Dong Da and Thanh Xuan districts but had to leave quickly because the selling price was not cheap, exceeding 100-150 million VND/m2.
