On November 6, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had approved the Construction Planning Project for Khanh Vinh district until 2030, with a vision to 2050.
According to the decision, the planning research area has a total area of about 116,643 hectares with 14 administrative units, including Khanh Vinh town and 13 communes.
The district's urban system will develop according to the model of a small ecological urban area in the mountains and forests, prioritizing the development and construction of urban areas with high density of ecological trees, friendly to nature, taking advantage of climatic conditions and typical forest systems.
The whole Khanh Vinh district will be divided into 3 sub-regions. Sub-region 1 Southeast - Administrative, commercial, service, industrial sub-region, including Khanh Vinh town and 5 communes: Khanh Nam, Cau Ba, Khanh Thanh, Song Cau, Khanh Phu.
Sub-region 2 in the north includes the agricultural, forestry and green energy sub-region, including 4 communes: Khanh Dong, Khanh Binh, Khanh Hiep, Khanh Trung.
Sub-region 3 in the southwest will plan tourism, forestry and forest conservation, including 4 communes: Khanh Thuong, Giang Ly, Son Thai, Lien Sang.
According to the plan, by 2030, the total population of Khanh Vinh district is forecasted to be about 66,400 people. By 2040, the total population is forecasted to be about 89,800 people and by 2050, the population is about 99,300 people.
In the coming time, Khanh Vinh district will organize the announcement of planning; develop and deploy implementation plans; and manage construction.
When implementing the Khanh Vinh District Construction Planning Project to 2030, with a vision to 2050, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee directed Khanh Vinh District to ensure compliance with relevant regulations; not to allow overlaps, disputes, complaints, and lawsuits during the planning implementation process.
Especially not causing loss or waste of resources, calculating to ensure technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and ensuring consensus of the community.
