Speaking to the press, the leader of the Soc Son District Land Fund Development Center said that the district has postponed the auction of 36 plots in Dong Lai village (Quang Tien commune) scheduled to be held on the morning of December 28.
The reason for postponing the auction is to re-determine the starting price according to Decision 71 of the Hanoi People's Committee on regulations and amendments to the price list of land types, effective from December 20.
The leader of the Soc Son District Land Fund Development Center said that they are currently submitting the starting price for the auction to competent authorities for approval, and will then continue to auction 36 land plots in Dong Lai village, Quang Tien commune according to regulations.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, on December 28, Thanh Xuan Joint Stock Auction Company in coordination with the Soc Son District Land Fund Development Center is expected to auction 36 plots in Dong Lai village, Quang Tien commune, Soc Son district. The plots of land have an area of 90 - 220 m2/plot with a starting price of 2.4 million VND/m2.
The price step for the first, second and subsequent rounds is applied to land plots with a price step of VND 3,000,000/m2 (three million VND per square meter of land).
Auction by direct voting for each plot of land. The auction method is ascending price. Auction for each plot of land, the result is announced immediately after the end of the voting time of each round based on valid auction ballots with valid bids. The determination of the auction winner is carried out according to regulations.
Previously, on November 29, the Land Fund Development Center of Soc Son District (Hanoi) coordinated with Thanh Xuan Joint Stock Auction Center to auction 58 plots of land in Dong Lai Village (Quang Tien Commune). This auction caused a stir in public opinion when a customer offered 3 plots of land at 30 billion VND/m2.
At the end of the auction, 22/58 plots of land were successfully auctioned. 36 plots were not auctioned because all customers did not bid in round 6 (the final round).
After this incident, the Hanoi City Police Department urgently arrested and temporarily detained 5 subjects for investigation related to the bid of 30 billion VND/m2 in the land auction in Soc Son district.
On December 10, Hanoi City Police initiated a case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Nguyen Duc Thanh (born in 1992, in Bac Ninh City), Pham Ngoc Tuan (born in 1991), Ngo Van Duong (born in 1994), Nguyen The Trung (born in 1994), Nguyen The Quan (born in 1994), all in Dong Anh District (Hanoi), for the crime of "Violating regulations on property auction activities".
