The project was started in the area of Phu My New Urban Area in Cam Thanh Ward and An Phu Commune, Quang Ngai Province.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, the leader of HUD Corporation said that the HUD - Phu My Social Housing project was built on a land area of over 1.55 hectares, planned and designed including two 9-storey blocks, with a total construction floor area of about 29,000m2.
In which, the first floor has spaces serving public utilities, commercial services and parking lots; the above floors have nearly 300 apartments with an area of 58m2 to 70m2.
The project is planned in a modern direction, designed in the direction of optimizing the usable space, taking advantage of natural light and ventilation.
Each apartment is not only a comfortable living space but also enjoys a synchronous utility system such as: spacious parking lot, children's playground, relaxation green area, swimming pool, along with closed management and security services with modern surveillance cameras.
Smart vehicle control systems and accompanying utility infrastructure ensure a safe and civilized living environment, improving the quality of life for residents.
HUD Corporation is committed to focusing all resources, closely coordinating with relevant agencies, directing design, construction, and supervision units to implement the project to ensure quality, progress, safety and compliance with regulations.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh highly appreciated the Quang Ngai provincial government in supporting and creating favorable conditions for investors in implementing social housing projects.
The Deputy Minister of Construction said that after the merger, Quang Ngai has the 5th largest area in the country, with a population of more than 2.1 million people, a dynamic economy, abundant labor force, and the need for social housing becomes even more urgent.
Therefore, the Ministry of Construction hopes that the province will continue to create favorable conditions for investors to implement social housing projects, in order to soon successfully achieve the set target of completing 8,500 social housing units by 2030.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang affirmed that the HUD - Phu My social housing project (phase 1) is an important part of the social housing development roadmap to 2030 of Quang Ngai province, with the goal of completing 8,500 apartments.
Quang Ngai province is committed to creating favorable conditions for investors, including HUD Corporation, in the project implementation process, ensuring progress, efficiency and transparency.
At the same time, it is hoped that the HUD - Phu My social housing project will become a typical model, contributing to improving the quality of life and promoting local socio-economic development.
