The Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project passing through Binh Duong province has a total investment of VND 8,283 billion. The road passes through 4 localities: Tan Uyen city, Bac Tan Uyen district, Phu Giao district, Bau Bang district.
According to the Binh Duong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the land acquisition area for the project is about 322 hectares.
To date, 1,304/1,650 cases of land reclamation have been announced, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025. Currently, land measurement and property counting of households are being conducted, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
There are 3 localities, Bau Bang, Phu Giao, Tan Uyen, that have issued decisions on land compensation unit prices. Bac Tan Uyen District is expected to approve in May 2025.
According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project, the section passing through Binh Duong province, has a total length of about 52 km. The expressway is planned to have a scale of 6 expressway lanes, with a design speed of 100 km/h.
In phase 1, the project is invested in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), with a scale of 4 expressway lanes, continuous emergency lanes for the entire route, roadbed width of 25.5 m, total investment of over VND 17,000 billion.
Binh Duong province has started the project to build a highway with an investment capital of more than VND 8,833 billion. At the same time, a site clearance project with a capital of about VND 8,283 billion is being urgently implemented.
