Previously, on March 28, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan of Phuoc An Industrial Park (Phuoc An commune, Nhon Trach district) with a scale of 330 hectares, located adjacent to Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway (Northwest), adjacent to Thi Vai River and the planned railway line (East)...
This is an industrial park oriented towards ecological development, attracting investment projects in the production of supporting industrial products, industries using high technology. The industrial park has a smart, modern, environmentally friendly technical infrastructure system, promoting and exploiting the unique advantages of Phuoc An port.
The planning also determines the mixed-use planning area to serve social housing and workers' housing needs, arranged by the People's Committee of Nhon Trach district in Phuoc An and Long Tho communes, which is outside the planning boundary.
According to the plan, Phuoc An Industrial Park is divided into 2 sub-zones including: Sub-zone A (west of Provincial Road 771C) with a scale of more than 58 hectares is proposed to be prioritized to attract industrial models using high technology, small and medium enterprises, supporting industrial enterprises, and innovative enterprises.
Sub-area B (east of Provincial Road 771C) has a scale of nearly 272 hectares, prioritizing the attraction of supporting industries, multi-industry industries using high technology, services and trade union institutions. At the same time, it is a place to focus on arranging technical infrastructure units for the entire area. Arrange functional land funds for the construction of security and fire prevention headquarters in the area according to current regulations.
Forecast of the development of labor demand in the whole area of about 18,000 workers, maximum accommodation needs of 1,000 seats in the service area, serving experts and highly skilled workers working short-term.
The Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway is one of the most important transport projects in the Southern region, playing a role in connecting the East and Southwest.
The route has a total length of more than 57 km, passing through Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and Long An, with a total investment of more than 30,000 billion VND.
The expressway is designed to be 24 m wide, including 4 lanes and 2 emergency lanes, with a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
When the entire project is completed in 2026, this route will help shorten the time for transporting goods, reduce traffic congestion and promote socio-economic development in neighboring areas.
In particular, the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway will play an important role in connecting to Long Thanh International Airport ( basically completed by the end of 2025).
