Land acquisition of 3 communes in Dong Nai to expand the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway

Dong Nai - The project to expand the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway section through 3 communes Nhon Trach, Long Thanh, An Phuoc recovered more than 4 hectares of land, with 417 land plots.

On December 30, according to information from the Dong Nai Provincial Land Development Center, functional agencies are mobilizing households to hand over land to serve the construction of the Expansion Project of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway section belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway.

For the section passing through Nhon Trach commune, Dong Nai province, currently the Land Fund Development Center, Nhon Trach branch, in coordination with functional agencies, has mobilized households to hand over to investors 36 land plots with an area of more than 1,200 m2, reaching more than 97% of the land area to be handed over. Currently, the Land Fund Development Center, Nhon Trach branch has prepared a draft compensation and support plan for these 36 land plots and is expected to submit for approval in December 2025.

For the section passing through Long Thanh and An Phuoc communes, Dong Nai province, about 12 km long with 379 land plots, the Long Thanh Branch Land Fund Development Center in coordination with functional agencies has also mobilized the handover of 315 land plots. With the remaining 64 land plots in Long Thanh commune, due to housing, assets, and architectural structures that need to be relocated and resettled, households have not agreed to hand over land.

The project to expand the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway section is nearly 22 km long, of which the section passing through Dong Nai province is 13 km long. To serve the project construction, Dong Nai province must recover land of more than 4 hectares, with 417 land plots in Nhon Trach, Long Thanh, An Phuoc communes.
