On January 17, information from the Pleiku City People's Committee said that the government is making efforts to remove difficulties and obstacles in planning and traffic to effectively promote land resources, not to waste them, especially prime land locations.
Accordingly, the city government is implementing 17 construction planning projects including: 2 projects to adjust the general planning, 11 zoning planning projects, and 4 detailed planning projects. Of which, 8/11 construction zoning planning projects have been approved.
In 2024, the city will implement 29 compensation and site clearance projects. To date, the city has completed compensation and site clearance for 4 projects.
Many other projects are facing difficulties, causing key projects with a driving force to be behind schedule. Part of the reason is that people do not agree with the land compensation price according to regulations, claiming that the state price is lower than the market price.
Pleiku City People's Committee proposed Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to allow local land use adjustment of some vacant locations in the area to avoid waste.
When implementing projects related to legal regulations, we should not be rigid so that the project is delayed. The relevant agencies must take responsibility and make appropriate amendments to facilitate the work, aiming to serve the common interests of society.
Speeding up planning progress is an important factor for Pleiku city to accelerate socio-economic development.
As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, the golden land with an area of thousands of square meters, including the Se San hotel building, has been abandoned for many years.
The land has two main frontages on Hung Vuong and Tran Hung Dao streets, a bustling central location of Pleiku city. The building is damaged and seriously degraded, causing many people in the mountain town to feel regretful and heartbroken.
Similarly, a land area of thousands of square meters located on two bustling main roads of Pleiku, Le Hong Phong and Dinh Tien Hoang, has also been vacant and degraded for many years.
Inside the campus, weeds grow wildly, concrete is rotten and peeling... Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested Pleiku City People's Committee to review and inspect the planning and land use plans at these locations and promptly rearrange public assets according to regulations.
