On January 16, Mr. Huynh Trung Duy (born in 1957, residing in Nha Trang City) confirmed that he had received by post the conclusion notice of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh after a regular public reception at the end of 2024.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to direct departments and branches to review the above petition contents and send a written response to Mr. Huynh Trung Duy. At the same time, report to the Provincial Party Secretary the settlement results before January 30, 2025.
In the concluding announcement, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged Mr. Huynh Trung Duy's opinion on not agreeing with some of the responses of the authorities at the Cam Ranh Peninsula North Tourism - Service Complex Project invested by Hoan Cau Nha Trang Company Limited.
Specifically, some of the contents that Mr. Huynh Trung Duy presented were that his land was not on the list of land acquisition in the project; he did not agree on the compensation price that had been resolved by Khanh Hoa province and requested the investor to negotiate the price when acquiring his land.
In addition, Mr. Huynh Trung Duy requested to consider the project being implemented in accordance with Article 99 of Decree No. 43/2014 of the Government and reflected that the project assigned to the investor had carried out site clearance exceeding 3.03 hectares compared to the area decided on investment policy in 2017 and Decision No. 3495/2014 on approving the detailed planning 1/500 of the project...
It is known that many years before working with the Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Huynh Trung Duy sent petitions to central and local agencies.
He reflected on the irregularities in the land acquisition process at the Cam Ranh Peninsula North Tourism - Service Complex Project.
He said that his family's land was illegally recovered according to land recovery and resettlement support decisions No. 1974, 1975, 1977 and 1978 signed on November 21, 2017 by Cam Lam District People's Committee, with a recovered land area of 71,919m2.
