According to the latest report of the leaders of Tam Son Ward People's Committee (Bac Ninh province), the investment project to build a new urban area, tourism, ecology, culture, resorts, entertainment in Tu Son city (old) (sub-zone 112.3), being implemented in the ward with a total investment of VND 11,171 billion, with a scale of 199 hectares.
Regarding the progress of site clearance (GPMB) of the project, Tam Son Ward People's Committee has coordinated with the Branch of Tien Phong Land Fund Development Center and related units to organize meetings with households in the area where the land is recovered to implement the project.
According to the report, many households whose land is recovered have not coordinated in decreasing demographics and declaring the percentage of recovered land area, causing difficulties in project implementation.
It is known that previously, on the morning of August 1, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tam Son Ward organized a meeting and discussed with the people of Hung Phuc and Ta Xa neighborhoods about the policies and regimes related to compensation and support for site clearance for the project.
At the conference, households in Hung Phuc and Ta Xa neighborhoods were informed about the project and policies related to compensation and site clearance by leaders of Tam Son ward and Tien Phong Land Fund Development Center Branch.
According to the reporter's investigation, the above project was approved by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province in the Decision dated February 14, 2025; approved the results of selecting investors to implement the project in the Decision dated June 21, 2025.
The project is invested by Tay Bac Investment Company Limited, with an expected area of about 199 hectares reclaimed from 2,751 households in neighborhoods in Tam Son ward.
The goal of the project is to invest in building a new urban area and doing business in a complex of modern, smart, international-class tourism, resort, and culture.
In addition to housing products and construction works, there are sports facilities, schools, parking lots, green parks, and roads that account for about 70% of the total area.
The project has a population of about 7,637 people; the project implementation progress is within 7 years from the date of selecting the investor.
Bac Ninh is one of the industrial capitals in the North, concentrating a series of FDI giants in the fields of technology equipment manufacturing, electronics, and semiconductors.
In recent years, Bac Ninh has also become the destination of a series of large investors in the real estate sector.
A series of new urban area projects are being accelerated in this locality.
Transport infrastructure in Bac Ninh is changing strongly. Gia Binh International Airport (Bac Ninh) started construction in December 2024 with a total area of nearly 1,900 hectares. According to the plan, the airport will be basically completed and initially put into operation from the end of 2026 to serve the APEC 2027 summit.
Hanoi City has also agreed on the plan to build a nearly 50km, 120m wide road connecting Gia Binh Airport with the center of the capital.
