On September 16, Mr. Nguyen Van Yem - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, Chairman of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Dong Hoa Ward chaired a field survey delegation at the Ho Chi Minh City National University project in the ward.
The working delegation surveyed, recorded the reality and continued to propagate and mobilize the remaining households to agree to hand over the land, striving to ensure progress. The project has 38 affected households, and so far 12 households have not completed handover.
Dong Hoa Ward People's Committee said that the ward continues to propagate and mobilize with the motto "listen - share - accompany people". Dong Hoa Ward is focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles, contributing to accelerating the progress of site clearance, serving the construction projects of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
It is known that the Ho Chi Minh City National University project needs to recover 643 hectares. Of which Linh Xuan ward recovered 121 hectares, Dong Hoa ward recovered 522 hectares. To date, Dong Hoa ward has recovered over 500 hectares, equivalent to 96% of the area to be recovered.
It is expected that compensation and site clearance for this project will be completed before September 30, 2026.
