Bac Lieu (old) Social Insurance headquarters located at the corner of Hung Vuong - Tran Huynh street has been abandoned for many years. Previously, in 2021, this headquarters was assigned to Bac Lieu City Social Insurance (old) for management after Bac Lieu Provincial Social Insurance (old) was newly built on Vo Van Kiet street.
However, not long after receiving it, this headquarters was left empty and unused. Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - the house opposite the headquarters - said: "This headquarters has been abandoned for several years, no one has entered.
Due to being abandoned for many years, vines grow densely in the yard, lobby and inside grounds showing signs of degradation. The building is still intact but the doors have been dismantled and demolished in many places.
On January 27, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu ward, Ca Mau province said that this headquarters is not managed by the ward, so no one is assigned to supervise it.
Meanwhile, Ca Mau Social Insurance affirmed that this land and housing facility has been handed over to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province. Currently, Ca Mau Social Insurance does not manage or exploit it.
As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee transferred 309 redundant land and housing facilities to agencies, units, and localities for management, exploitation, and handling in order to effectively use public assets and avoid loss and waste.
According to the decision, the Ca Mau Provincial Land Fund Development Center is assigned to manage, exploit, and handle 90 houses and land facilities. The remaining 219 facilities are transferred to the People's Committees of communes and wards to receive management, exploitation and handling according to their authority.
Bac Lieu Social Insurance headquarters (old) that people reflect is managed by the Land Fund Development Center. The Center is summarizing dossiers of each real estate facility to have a reasonable management and exploitation plan.
