On April 14, leaders of Binh Duong ward directly participated in mobilizing people to agree on compensation and site clearance for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project (section passing through old Binh Duong province).
Leaders of the Ward People's Committee and ward officials have come to households and land areas to carry out the work of mobilizing and persuading people to agree to hand over land.
At the working session, the delegation propagated and explained clearly the regulations related to compensation, support, and resettlement. At the same time, mobilized cooperation to hand over 5 land plots with an area of 1,501m2 of rice land.

It is known that the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project has a total length of about 52.159km. In which, the section passing through the old Binh Duong province is nearly 46km long with a total investment of about 17,400 billion VND. The site clearance project has a total investment of 8.283 billion VND, requiring compensation and recovery of 327 hectares of land. The project affects 1,613 individuals and organizations. According to assessments, site clearance work is being delayed, affecting the handover of land for project construction. Currently, localities are promoting propaganda, mobilization and carrying out coercive procedures according to regulations.
