On April 9, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut and the working delegation inspected the construction progress of component project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
Component project 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section passing through Dong Nai province has a length of 16km. In phase 1, the expressway is invested and built with a scale of 4 lanes, design speed of 100 km/h.
The project has 2 construction packages under construction, and so far the realized value has reached 78% of the signed contract value.
At the inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut assessed that the current construction progress has not met the requirements.
This project, Dong Nai province sets a target to complete and open to traffic by the end of April 2026. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to work with construction contractors. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut requested to decisively terminate the contract with the slow construction contractor at the project, and cannot allow the situation of slow construction to continue.
The Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to review the construction progress of contractors, identify construction units that have not met requirements, and the Provincial People's Committee will work specifically.
On the same day, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut and the working delegation also inspected the construction progress of the central road project of Bien Hoa city (in Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province), road 25B project and road 25C project.
