On the afternoon of April 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An commune, Hanoi city, just organized a conference to mobilize and persuade households and individuals to comply with the decision to enforce land recovery to serve site clearance for the project: construction of the Huu Duong dike road section through Doc Loi - Dang Xa to Le Chi commune, Gia Lam district (now Thuan An commune, Hanoi city).
The project to build the Huu Duong dike road section from Doc Loi (Dang Xa) to Le Chi commune, Gia Lam district (now Thuan An commune, Hanoi city) has been implemented since 2019.
From July 2025, implementing the two-level local government model, the project will be transferred to Thuan An Commune People's Committee for further implementation.
After receiving it, the Commune People's Committee urgently reviewed dossiers and related documents; and at the same time grasped the actual situation, thoughts, and aspirations of affected households.
In the past time, Thuan An Commune People's Committee has received petitions from some households in Chi Dong and Cay De villages related to land acquisition. Thuan An Commune People's Committee has issued documents to respond and explain the contents of concern to the people.
At the same time, the locality has organized propaganda and mobilization conferences to persuade households and individuals to agree and implement steps in site clearance to serve the project. However, up to now, there are still 19 households that have not complied with receiving compensation and support money when the State recovers land to implement the project according to the issued decision.
Regarding legal basis, the Commune People's Committee has issued a decision to recover land and sent it to each household in accordance with regulations. Thuan An Commune People's Committee has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, departments, boards, and relevant agencies to organize propaganda, mobilization, and persuasion of households and individuals many times, but households still do not comply.
Expressing opinions at the conference, households continued to express their support for the project implementation policy; however, there are still disagreements with the applied compensation and support price framework, as well as on the area and origin of land of some households.
With the motto "mobilizing until the last moment", at the conference, representatives of leaders of professional departments and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune continued to mobilize and persuade households and individuals to receive compensation, support, and hand over land so that the project could be implemented to ensure the set progress.
With its functions and tasks, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An commune listens, absorbs, and summarizes opinions in a spirit of receptiveness and in accordance with regulations.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune continues to propagate and mobilize; and at the same time encourage households and individuals subject to coercion to strictly comply with the law, soon receive compensation and support money and hand over land before the time of coercion on April 16, 2026, contributing to ensuring security and order, avoiding legal consequences and unnecessary damage to the households themselves.
