This is one of 80 typical works nationwide selected to start construction and inaugurate on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
Attending the ground -breaking ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong - Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; Mr. Tran Duy Dong - Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee and representatives of a number of ministries, central branches and leaders of departments and agencies of the province.
The whole province of Vinh Phuc currently has 17 industrial parks, of which 9 industrial parks have come into operation, attracting more than 260,000 workers, therefore, the demand for social housing is very high. According to the Project to Invest in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030, by 2030, Vinh Phuc must complete 28,300 social housing apartments.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, Vinh Phuc province has started 2 social housing projects: Phuc Thang Social Housing Project and Social Housing Project in Nam Vinh Yen New Urban Area.
The Kira Home social housing project is built on an area of over 1.5 hectares in Dao Duc town, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province with a construction density of 22.5%. Kira Home consists of 2 9-storey apartment blocks, providing about 352 apartments with a flexible area of 35 - 70m2.
The project not only meets the housing needs of workers, workers and low-income people, but also creates momentum to promote the real estate market, construction industry, materials and services in the locality.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kira Home Social Housing Project, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong congratulated and emphasized the significance of the project in contributing to solving the housing needs of the people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong suggested that investors speed up the construction progress, focus on improving the quality of works and items, ensuring completion on schedule, meeting and exceeding the set goals and targets.
At the same time, he affirmed that the banking sector will continue to accompany and support credit for social housing projects to contribute to the effective implementation of socio-economic development goals.
