Hanoi - From the evening of April 28, many people were present at the Sunrise Home social housing project application receiving point to reserve seats, waiting to receive application forms to submit applications the next morning.

According to Lao Dong's records, at about 7 pm on April 28, dozens of people were present at the application site for the Sunrise Home social housing project (Km14 National Highway 1, Ngoc Hoi commune, Hanoi), reserving places to wait to receive the application appointment form on the morning of April 29.

It is known that on April 28, Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 7 (the project investor) limited the issuance of a maximum of 250 registration numbers for people to complete procedures to receive appointment slips to submit dossiers.

Therefore, from the evening of the same day, many people came early to wait to get appointment slips for the next day.

Due to the large number of people coming to submit applications, many people actively write their names in the book to get a queue number. After that, they have to be on duty all night to reserve seats, because if they are absent when checking in, they will have to rearrange from the beginning. Many families also take turns on duty to reserve seats overnight.

Ms. Tran Thi Linh (character name has been changed) said that in the afternoon of April 28, she came to submit her application, but the appointment slips had been distributed, so in the evening she returned to wait early, preparing to get the appointment slips in the morning of April 29.

According to Ms. Linh, currently the number of social housing projects open for sale in Hanoi is not large, so despite the hardship, she still tries to submit applications to have the opportunity to buy a house.

Similarly, Ms. Tran Thi Mui's family (character name has been changed) also took turns holding seats so that they could receive early appointment slips the next morning.

I have asked for leave from work tomorrow morning to submit my application to buy a social housing. My family works in the Ngoc Hoi commune area, so I really hope to be able to buy a house here. Husband and wife take turns being on duty like that is also less tiring" - Ms. Mui shared.

According to research, the project is being built in Ngoc Hoi commune (Hanoi City) on a land area of 3,317m2.

The temporary selling price of social housing is 24,740,000 VND/m2 (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees); maintenance fee is 449,800 VND/m2. Lease-purchase price is 556,520 VND/m2 (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees), lease price is 215,625 VND/m2. The above price is temporary, the investor will announce the official price after being appraised by competent authorities according to regulations.

The total number of apartments in the project is 196 units. Of which, social housing for sale includes 109 units, with areas from 40.4m2 to 59.4m2 (equivalent to prices from 999.4 million VND to 1.46 billion VND/unit); social housing for lease-purchase includes 17 units, with an area of 40.4m2; social housing for lease includes 34 units, with areas from 40.4-47.4m2.

Time to receive purchase and lease-purchase dossiers from April 25, 2026 to the end of May 30, 2026 (excluding Sundays), mornings from 8am to 11am, afternoons from 2pm to 4:30pm. Expected time to sign apartment purchase and sale contracts in June 2026, apartment handover expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.
