Lao Dong's records on the afternoon of April 28th, many people were present at the application receiving point for social housing purchases under the social housing construction investment project at land plot I, Ngoc Hoi commune (commercial name is Sunrise Home).


A person queuing said that he was present at the application submission point from 4 am on April 28, but the registration number for the appointment was over 200. According to him, many people even came to queue from the previous night to wait to get the earliest registration number.
Similarly, a woman also came to the application submission point from 5 am, but the registration number was already over 200. By 2:30 pm, she was still not on her turn to receive the appointment slip.
Ms. Pham Minh Huyen (Vinh Hung ward, Hanoi) said that she and her husband are workers, renting a room in Hanoi for 5 years and want to find social housing in areas far from the center to settle down. However, when she arrived at the application location, she was surprised because the number of people interested was very large, many people had to queue from dawn while the number of apartments was limited.
“Initially, I thought the project far from the center would have fewer people interested, but when I arrived, I was very surprised because the number of registered people was very large,” Ms. Huyen shared.

On April 28, the investor, Mechanical and Construction Joint Stock Company No. 7, adjusted the receiving method to limit crowded gatherings. Accordingly, this unit announced the issuance of a maximum of 250 serial numbers for people to enter to complete procedures to receive appointment slips to submit applications, an increase of 10 times compared to the previously listed number.
After issuing all the registration numbers, people are requested not to gather in front of the office area of the social housing project management board. Regarding the procedure, the investor organizes to receive about 20 people in turn to complete the appointment procedures. In case people are called to the registration number but are not present, and their turn is missed, they will return at the end of the morning working hours and continue to be resolved.

According to research, the project is being built in Ngoc Hoi commune (Hanoi City) on a land area of 3,317m2.
The temporary selling price of social housing is 24,740,000 VND/m2 (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees); maintenance fee is 449,800 VND/m2. Lease-purchase price is 556,520 VND/m2 (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees), lease price is 215,625 VND/m2. The above price is temporary, the investor will announce the official price after being appraised by competent authorities according to regulations.
The total number of apartments in the project is 196 units. Of which, social housing for sale includes 109 units, with areas from 40.4m2 to 59.4m2 (equivalent to prices from 999.4 million VND to 1.46 billion VND/unit); social housing for lease-purchase includes 17 units, with an area of 40.4m2; social housing for lease includes 34 units, with areas from 40.4-47.4m2.
Time to receive purchase and lease-purchase dossiers from April 25, 2026 to the end of May 30, 2026 (excluding Sundays), mornings from 8am to 11am, afternoons from 2pm to 4:30pm. Expected time to sign apartment purchase and sale contracts in June 2026, apartment handover expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.
