Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) has issued a notice on the voluntary dismantling and relocation of works, canopies, and shacks to clear ground for the construction of the National Highway 6 expansion project - the section opposite Traffic Police Team No. 12.
According to Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee, to ensure the construction progress of National Highway 6 and handle urban order bottlenecks and traffic congestion, site clearance for the section opposite Traffic Police Team No. 12 (location adjacent to Xuan Mai market, route from Km34+778 to Km34+960 on the right side of the route, length 182m) needs to be implemented immediately, Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee requests households, individuals, organizations, and related units within the scope of site clearance requirements mentioned above to voluntarily dismantle and relocate works, canopies, and eaves, ensuring completion time before June 11, 2026.
After the above time, if households, individuals, organizations, and related units do not voluntarily dismantle and relocate for site clearance, the Commune People's Committee will organize clearance according to regulations.
Xuan Mai Commune People's Committee assigned the Commune General Service Center to preside over and coordinate with departments of the Commune People's Committee, Commune Police, and village grassroots levels to organize widespread propaganda in many effective forms for households, individuals, organizations, and related units to voluntarily comply.
The Commune People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Economic Department and the Commune Police to guide households to organize and arrange signs, advertising signs and other types of billboards to ensure compliance with regulations and urban aesthetics.
The Commune People's Committee assigned the Commune Police to preside over and coordinate with the Economic Department to regularly patrol, control, propagate, and urge households to voluntarily dismantle and relocate structures, canopies, and shacks, ensuring time according to the notice.
Assign the Economic Department to preside over and coordinate with sectors to organize forces to clear cases of intentionally delaying and not voluntarily dismantling and relocating works, canopies, and shacks after June 11, 2026, ensuring the progress of the National Highway 6 upgrade and renovation project.
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 6, Ba La - Xuan Mai section, started at the end of 2022 with a route length of 21.7 km (excluding the section through Chuong My ward from Km19+920 to Km22+220).
The total investment of the project is over 9,590 billion VND, implemented in the 2022-2027 period. When completed, the road will have a cross-section of 50-60 m.
